A learning disability affects the way a person learns, processes information and is able to communicate. This can affect everyday activities like household tasks, socialising and managing money.
Winchester Go LD believes that people should be treated as equals and given the same respect and opportunities as everyone else. That means full choice and control in their lives, such as where to live, work and socialise.
Living life to its full potential.
As a local charity we have a range of activities and provide information, signposting and services.
- We respect and promote the rights of people with a learning disability and their families to speak up on issues both locally and nationally
- We aim to raise awareness, change attitudes and influence policy
- We invite anyone with a learning disability and their families and friends to become members
- Membership is free, but donations are very welcome
We would like to thank everyone involved with the photos for this site and Adrian Harvey Photography at adrianharvey.co.uk
